While everyone knows famous chili con carne, its meat-free version continues to win the hearts of not only vegans and vegetarians.

This simple yet very satisfying and high-protein comfort food may be made with quite basic ingredients but it is the fine spices and long cooking time that bring out the rich flavour and distinctive aroma.

To create the full-bodied freeze-dried variation of the beloved Mexican classic we used only organic ingredients such as nutritious red beans, bell pepper, onion and green olives cooked in an aromatic tomato-chili sauce. Served with polenta rather than a cow. ¡Olé!
